Brandywine Center

In 2005 members of the Brandywine Grange approached Tuscarawas SWCD, NJC, and the County Commissioners on donating the property to make it more usable in the community. After many meetings, and discussions, the Brandywine Grange decided that donating the property to Tuscarawas SWCD would be the route to take. The Agreement states that the property is to be used for community outreach by providing conservation, natural resiouces and nature education programs for the general public. Tuscarwawas SWCD will honor current deed restrictions (neighbors have permission to garden and maintain ground around the gardens.) The Brandywine Grange will continue to hold its meetings at the Center and SWCD will make the Center available for workshops and programs for the community.

If there are any questions concerning its availability please call the Tuscarawas SWCD at 330-339-7976. (For complete details a copy of the Agreement is on file at the Tuscarawas SWCD office.)

To schedule an event at the Brandywine Center, you must have a signed agreement and contact the SWCD office to make sure the desired day is available.
