Tuscarawas SWCD educational programs promote the conservation and protection of our many natural resources by using activities such as:

  • Presentations for community organizations and clubs
  • Classroom activities and presentations for K-12
  • Guided learning visits to the Norma Johnson Center
  • A lending library of books and videos involving natural resources
  • Classroom interactive models for loan or presentation - Ground Water Model, Streamulator, and Enviroscapes

* Emphasis is placed on soil, water, ecosystems, wildlife, and forestry in these activities.
